Head of Digital for Consumer & Community Banking
Allison Beer is Head of Digital for Consumer & Community Banking, helping Chase to lead digital innovation in the financial services industry. Allison reports to Gordon Smith, CEO of Consumer & Community Banking.
Prior to this role, Allison was Head of Corporate Development for Banking and Payments for JPMorgan Chase and negotiated new partnerships with tech giants and other major distribution platforms.
Allison joined JPMorgan Chase in 2017 to lead payments partnerships in Chase's Digital division where her team managed partnerships with Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Android Pay and others -- as well as drove the strategies for digital payments. Her team also managed Chase’s tokenization partnerships and development of the third party token vault with The Clearinghouse.
Prior to joining Chase, Allison held a number of executive roles at American Express spanning digital partnerships, M&A and card benefits. In her last role, she was responsible for revenue for Amex’s multi-billion dollar travel business, a global team of more than 100 people who drove travel partnerships, analytics, co-brands and proprietary card benefits for Platinum and Centurion cards. In previous roles, Allison managed mergers and acquisitions and investments for the online and mobile division to create new revenue streams, accelerate the product roadmap and launch Amex’s digital payments platform into target segments.
Allison is a graduate of Yale University. She lives in Westchester with her husband and twin boys.
