Biography
As Chief Product Officer for Digital, Chris Stang leads the end-to-end digital and design experience, including the Chase Mobile App, Chase Online, Chase Digital Assistant and overall strategy on agentic AI.
Chris is the former CEO and Co-Founder of the restaurant discovery platform, The Infatuation, which was acquired by JPMorganChase in 2021 to further the firm’s commitment to dining and experiences. Post acquisition, he took on responsibility for those strategies as Head of Lifestyle at Chase, forging a corporate partnership with OpenTable, developing an events and experiences strategy for Sapphire Reserve cardmembers, expanding Concierge services, and establishing a multi-year partnership with the Independent Restaurant Coalition.
In his time building and scaling The Infatuation, Chris was the architect of The Infatuation’s editorial voice, creative vision, and marketing strategy, as well as the brand’s experiential business that includes the multi-city food festival, EEEEEATSCON, which he successfully transitioned to a Chase cardmember exclusive event in 2024. As a writer, Chris was nominated for a James Beard Award in 2015 and co-authored a bestselling book, How To Drink Wine (Clarkson Potter) in 2020.
Chris began his career in the music business, spending twelve years at Atlantic Records and ultimately rising to Vice President of Marketing, working closely with many of the label’s biggest acts including Coldplay, Bruno Mars, Gnarls Barkley, and Matchbox Twenty.
