Biography
Jon Shaw is JPMorganChase’s Chief Auditor for Consumer and Community Banking and International Consumer Banking and also serves as International Chief Auditor. He is a member of the Audit Operating Committee. He is Chair of the Regional Audit Governance Council and a member of the Internal Audit Practices Governance Council, People Governance Council, and Controls Council.
He joined JPMorganChase in 2013. Prior roles at the firm included leading audit coverage across Risk Management and Compliance, Finance, Human Resources, and Legal, in addition to leading the Internal Audit Issue Validation Center of Excellence and the department’s junior talent development program.
Previously, Jon served as the Corporate Officer of Enterprise Risk Management at Hess Corporation and as a Director in PwC’s Financial Management advisory practice. Jon holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Saint Thomas and an MBA in finance from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
He is a strong ally of the LGBTQ+ community and has served as Executive Sponsor of the Internal Audit LGBTQ+ Employee Network since 2022.
