Jon Shaw

Biography

Jon Shaw is the Chief Auditor for Consumer and Community Banking and a member of the Audit Operating Committee. He also leads the Internal Audit Validation Center of Excellence and the department’s junior talent development program. Prior to taking on the CCB role, Jon was the Chief Auditor for Corporate functions, where he led audit coverage across Risk Management and Compliance, Finance, Human Resources and Legal. He joined JPMorganChase in 2013 and is based in New York.

Previously, Jon served as the Corporate Officer of Enterprise Risk Management at Hess Corporation. He also was a Director in PWC’s Financial Management advisory practice. Jon holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Saint Thomas and an MBA in Finance from the Stern School of Business at New York University.

He is a strong Ally of the LGBTQ+ community and since 2022 he is the Executive Sponsor of the Internal Audit LGBTQ+ Forum.
