Chief Operating Officer, Consumer & Community Banking
Mike Ashworth is the Chief Operating Officer for Consumer & Community Banking (CCB), a business that serves more than 86 million consumers and 7 million small businesses in the United States.
As part of his role, Mike leads CCB Operations, a global team supporting Chase customers across their relationship with the firm. He is also responsible for Chase’s product operating model across all businesses and functions and co-leads the firm’s artificial intelligence work across Operations.
Mike has been the Head of CCB Operations since 2016. Joining the firm in 1986 as a programmer in London, Mike has held several leadership roles during his career, including as Chief Information Officer (CIO) for CCB, Deputy-CIO of JPMorganChase, Head of firmwide Global Technology Infrastructure and CIO of the J.P. Morgan Investment Bank.
Mike earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics with Computing and Statistics from the University of Bath in the United Kingdom. He is a member of the board of the University of Bath Foundation. He is based in New York.
