Biography

Chief Operations Officer, Consumer & Community Banking

Mike Ashworth is the Chief Operations Officer for Consumer & Community Banking (CCB), a business that serves nearly 80 million consumers and 5.7 million small businesses in the United States.

CCB Operations is a global team supporting Chase customers with everything from checking accounts, debit and credit cards, to auto loans and investment products as well as loans and products for small businesses.

Mike has been with JPMorgan Chase for more than 36 years and has been the head of CCB Operations since 2016.

Prior to his current role, Mike served as Chief Information Officer (CIO) for CCB and Deputy CIO of JPMorgan Chase. He also previously led Global Technology Infrastructure for the firm and was CIO of the J.P. Morgan Investment Bank.

Mike earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics with Computing and Statistics from the University of Bath in the United Kingdom. He is on the board of the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council and is a member of the board of the University of Bath Foundation. He and his wife have two children and live in New York.
