Biography

Pauline Saunders is the Chief Control Manager for all Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) lines of business within JPMorgan Chase & Co (JPMC).

As Chief Control Manager, she is responsible for overseeing the risk and control framework for the firm's consumer businesses. She and her team work with various business functions to provide appropriate governance and oversight and to ensure problems get identified quickly, escalated properly, remediated where appropriate and solutioned to prevent them from occurring again. She is a member of the JPMC Control Management Leadership Team and the CCB Leadership Team.

Pauline returned to JPMC in 2021 after spending two years as Chief Audit Executive at the United Services Automobile Association (USAA) Federal Savings Bank, where she led the Bank Audit team and oversaw audit coverage, developing a comprehensive enterprise-wide program.

She first joined JPMC in 2006 as an Audit Manager for Information Technology. Pauline then served as Audit Senior Director from 2010-2016, covering several the firm’s businesses and functions including Mortgage Banking, Consumer Banking, Business Banking, Digital, Marketing and Communications, and CCB Human Resources. She was also a Control Manager for Consumer Banking from 2017-2019.

Her early career included stints at KPMG LLP, Nationwide Insurance, and Owens Illinois.

She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University and her Master of Business Administration from Franklin University. She is also a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), ISACA.

Pauline lives in Highland Village, TX, with her husband and two sons.
