Biography
Sean Grzebin is the Chief Executive Officer of Chase Home Lending, a business dedicated to helping families achieve and sustain home ownership through both the Consumer and Correspondent channels. Chase ranks #2 in primary servicing and #4 in retail originations. Chase services more than 3.6 million mortgages with combined balances of more than $900 billion.
Sean is an executive sponsor for JP Morgan Chase’s $30 billion Racial Equity Commitment, a firmwide effort to help close the racial wealth gap and drive inclusive growth in underserved communities. He also serves on the Mortgage Bankers Association Board of Directors and on the Housing Policy Council’s Executive Committee.
Sean has served in the mortgage industry for more than 25 years in a number of leadership roles. He joined Chase in 2011, previously leading Home Lending’s Default Servicing business, as well as the Retail originations channel. Most recently, he was the Head of Home Lending Consumer Originations and Transformation. In this capacity he was responsible for the Retail, Consumer Direct, and Home Equity Originations channels end-to end.
Before joining Chase, Sean was the Chief Operating Officer at Avelo Mortgage, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Goldman Sachs.
Sean earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Holy Family University and lives in Jacksonville, Florida, with his wife and four children.
