Chief Data & Analytics Officer
Biography
Seth Wheeler is the Chief Data & Analytics Officer for Consumer & Community Banking (CCB). In this role, he is focused on unlocking the power of data, insights and AI to strengthen business execution and deliver great experiences for more than 90 million consumer and small business Chase customers.
Previously, Seth was the Head of Payments in CCB, where he led consumer and small business payments. Additionally, he led omni-channel transformation efforts for Collections & Recovery in CCB Operations as well as senior strategy roles across Consumer Banking, Wealth Management and Digital.
Prior to joining JPMorganChase, Seth was President Obama’s advisor on financial services, housing and markets at the White House. Seth also served as an Assistant Director for Financial Stability at the Federal Reserve and as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Financial Markets at the Treasury Department during the financial crisis. Outside government, Seth has also co-founded consumer-focused mobile startups, supported corporate development and global strategy at Morgan Stanley, and advised clients on innovation and product strategy at Bain & Co.
Seth is a graduate of Harvard Business School and Columbia Law School with honors and earned his undergraduate degree in Economics and Asian Studies from Brigham Young University. Seth lives in Pennsylvania with his wife and six children.
