Chase Extends Partnership with DoorDash to Provide DashPass Benefit for Most Chase Co-Brand Cardmembers

WILMINGTON, Del.—May 10, 2021— Today Chase announced an extension of the relationship with DoorDash, the nation's leading last-mile logistics platform, to offer complimentary DashPass memberships on most Chase co-brand cards.

Starting today, eligible cardmembers can activate and enjoy access to a one-year complimentary DashPass membership*, valued at over $100. DashPass, DoorDash’s membership service, offers unlimited $0 delivery fees and reduced service fees on orders of $12 or more from thousands of participating restaurants, grocery, and convenience stores  nationwide, as well as 5% in DoorDash credit back on all DoorDash Pickup orders. Eligible Chase co-brand cards include: Southwest^® Rapid Rewards^® Credit Cards; United Credit Cards; IHG^® Rewards Cards; Aer Lingus, British Airways, and Iberia Plus Visa Signature® Cards; Marriott Bonvoy Bold^™ and Boundless^™ Cards; World of Hyatt Card; Disney^® Visa^® Cards; and Starbucks^® Rewards Visa^® Card, with an auto-renew feature at the then current rate.

To activate the complimentary DashPass membership offer, cardmembers can visit the website to get started, or simply add an eligible Chase credit card as the default payment in the DoorDash app. Cardmembers will need to activate by December 31, 2021 to enjoy the new benefit.

Since its launch in August 2018, DashPass has amassed more than 5 million active subscribers. With DashPass, members save an average of $5 per order compared to non-subscribers. Cardmembers that activate their membership will have access to thousands of participating restaurants, grocery, and convenience stores nationwide.

As previously announced, this new offer is in addition to what is currently available for other Chase branded cards, including: Chase Sapphire Reserve^® and Preferred^® cardmembers have access to complimentary DashPass memberships for a minimum of one year**, and Chase Freedom^®, Freedom Unlimited^®, Freedom Student^® and Slate^® cardmembers can activate to enjoy complimentary DashPass memberships for the first three months***, followed by an auto-renewal at a 50% discount price at the current rate for the next nine months.
