Chase and Southwest® honor two small businesses with a $25,000 reward each to make their 2020 dream a reality
Today, Chase and Southwest Airlines® are excited to announce the two winners of the #BigDreamsStartSmall Contest – Bobby and Janice Jucker of Three Brother’s Bakery and Gabriela Baiter of Laylo Pets. As part of the #BigDreamsStartSmall Contest, event attendees were asked to submit responses as to what they would do with the $25,000 prize and were judged based on a certain criteria including innovation, business impact, and passion/inspiration. Additional details on the two contest winners are below:
- Three Brother’s Bakery: Three Brothers Bakery has been a staple in Houston, TX since 1949 when they first opened. With the help of Chase and Southwest, Bobby and Janice plan to use the $25,000 cash reward prize to open a fourth location which will create 20 new jobs in the Houston area!
- Laylo Pets: After uncovering a gap in the marketplace, Gabriela Baiter designed one-of-a-kind indigo shibori dog beds that feature global prints inspired by different styles around the world. With the help of Chase and Southwest, Gabriela plans to use the $25,000 cash reward prize to help develop the latest in-trend dog bed collection.
