Chase Mobile® App for iPhone® Introduces Face ID™
Chase today announced the latest enhancement to its award-winning mobile app with the addition of Face ID authentication for iPhone X, and is among the first U.S. banks to offer the feature
Nov 14, 2017 Face ID uses facial recognition software as another quick, convenient and secure way for customers to access the Chase Mobile App and manage their accounts.
Chase also was one of the first U.S. banks to offer Touch ID to sign into its mobile app.
As of the third quarter of 2017, Chase’s active mobile customer base surpassed 29 million – up 12 percent year over year.
Customers with a new Finn by ChaseSM mobile account, currently available in greater St. Louis, also will soon have access to Face ID using an iPhone X by the end of November.
The Chase Mobile App is available for free on the App Store.
Chase customers can also make easy, secure and private payments with their credit and debit cards using Apple Pay on iPhone X. Paying in stores and online shopping in apps and on websites accepting Apple Pay is simple, just double-click the side button and glance at your iPhone X to authenticate with Face ID.
