JPMorganChase Opens First Cedar Rapids Branch as Chase Continues Nationwide Expansion and Modernization
New full-service branch marks Chase’s 12th location in Iowa
JPMorganChase extends support with $500,000 local philanthropic funding to fuel investment
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa, September 24, 2026 — JPMorganChase today celebrated the grand opening of its first branch in Cedar Rapids as part of an overall effort to increase access to affordable banking services throughout the country.
Located at 2870 Edgewood Rd. SW, the Cedar Rapids branch is designed to support both day-to-day financial needs and longer-term goals. The location includes four private offices, customer booths, a conference room, two ATMs (vestibule and lobby), and reserved customer parking.
“Cedar Rapids is a community with strong small businesses and growing household financial needs,” said Marcia Treichel, Market Director for Chase in Iowa. “This new branch offers the best of what we have to offer—convenient banking and timely advice from dedicated teams who can sit down with customers to help them set goals, manage cash flow, and plan for what’s next. We’re excited to deepen our commitment to Cedar Rapids and communities across Iowa.”
Investing in Iowa
JPMorganChase has served Iowans for more than 40 years. Today, that includes more than 435,000 customers and 25,500 small businesses across the state through 12 Chase branches.
Earlier this year, the firm announced more than $1 million in philanthropic commitments to help drive local economic growth by supporting entrepreneurs and small businesses—from family-owned farms to enterprises in the state’s growing aerospace industry.
As part of its American Dream Initiative, JPMorganChase also announced it will renew its support of Cedar Rapids-based New Bohemian Innovation Collaborative, Inc. (NewBoCo) with $500,000 in philanthropic funding. The support will help advance the Iowa Aerospace Technology Center (IATC) through programming and resources that connect entrepreneurs, students and educators, businesses and community partners, help attract regional investment, and advance plans for an aerospace-focused makerspace supporting prototyping and early-stage innovation in the state.
“Expanding economic opportunity means helping more people and businesses participate in the industries shaping the future," said Victoria Adams Phipps, Vice President, Global Philanthropy, JPMorganChase. "We're proud to support NewBoCo's efforts to establish Iowa as a hub for aviation technology innovation, development and testing. Bringing together entrepreneurs, educators and industry leaders can help accelerate progress, support growing businesses and create more opportunities for Iowans."
Expanding Access Nationwide
The Cedar Rapids branch is part of JPMorganChase’s continued effort to expand access to banking services and in-person advice in communities across the country. Current plans call for Chase to open a new branch every business day from now until the end of the year.
In August, Chase opened 11 branches nationwide (88 since January) and renovated 49 branches (274 since January). The firm remains on track to open 160 new branches nationwide in 2026.
