Chase and Marriott Bonvoy® Announce New Marriott Bonvoy Bountiful Card Designed for People Who Live to Travel and Want to Earn Points Faster

Enhanced benefit also introduced for The Ritz-Carlton Cardmembers

WILMINGTON, DEL. / BETHESDA, MD – September 22, 2022 – Today Chase, the largest co-brand card issuer in the U.S., and Marriott Bonvoy, Marriott International’s award-winning travel program and marketplace, introduce the Marriott Bonvoy Bountiful™ Card. The new card allows cardmembers to rapidly earn points toward free stays at over 8,100 hotels and resorts participating in the Marriott Bonvoy program.

The Marriott Bonvoy Bountiful Credit Card from Chase offers cardmembers the following benefits:

  • 6X Points per $1 spent at hotels participating in Marriott Bonvoy
  • 4X Points per $1 on the first $15,000 in combined spending each year on grocery store and dining purchases
  • 2X Points per $1 spent on all other purchases
  • 1,000 Bonus Points per eligible stay at hotels participating in Marriott Bonvoy
  • Free Night Award after $15,000 in spend every calendar year (valued at 50,000 points)
  • 15 Elite Night Credits towards status each calendar year
  • Automatic Gold Elite status each account anniversary year as a cardmember

New eligible Chase Marriott Bonvoy Bountiful Card Members who apply and are approved for the card can earn 125,000 Marriott Bonvoy points after they spend $4,000 in eligible purchases on the card in the first three months.

Enhancements to The Ritz-Carlton™  Card

Chase and Marriott Bonvoy also announced that cardmembers who have The Ritz-Carlton Credit Card from JP Morgan will now receive an 85,000 Free Night Award each account anniversary (increased from a 50,000 Free Night Award). The Free Night Award can be combined with up to 15,000 points at redemption. This enhancement comes with no change to the annual fee. The Ritz-Carlton Card is no longer available to new applicants.

Today’s news follows an announcement earlier this year from Marriott Bonvoy and Chase about updated benefits to the Marriott Bonvoy Boundless® credit card enabling greater earning on everyday spending and new ways to achieve Marriott Bonvoy Elite status.
